Back to LabCruxLABCRUX TERMS

Terms

These terms describe the LabCrux service boundary, credit behavior, requested processing, and your responsibilities.

A consistency aid

LabCrux audit results are generated with AI and may contain errors or omissions. They are a reference for checking completed lab and engineering reports, not a grade or a statement of scientific truth. Review every finding against the original evidence; LabCrux does not replace instructor judgment or guarantee an outcome.

Credits

The first complete audit is free once per eligible account. After that, each newly started complete audit uses one credit regardless of report length or attachment count. A run that fails without a valid result uses no credit. Credit packs are one-time consumable purchases, not subscriptions.

Requested processing

Choosing Run audit — 1 credit requests that LabCrux send the selected material for the processing needed to produce the audit result. DOCX files may be temporarily converted to text by CloudConvert before the extracted content is sent to DeepSeek. LabCrux requests deletion of each conversion job immediately after success, failure, or cancellation. Any provider-side retention outside that deletion request is governed by CloudConvert’s terms and privacy notice. The Privacy notice explains these provider boundaries.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for having permission to upload the material, reviewing findings against the original evidence, and making your own final academic or engineering decisions.

Availability and public downloads

LabCrux publishes an App Store destination only after that public product URL is authoritative. This website does not use a placeholder or unrelated download link. Product help, methodology, comparisons, and private browser tools remain available through the public site.
