Pre-submission lab report checklist
A final check should verify submission completeness, evidence traceability, and internal agreement against the real assignment rules.
Freeze the submission set
Confirm the report, appendices, data tables, and required supporting files are the intended versions. A perfect report paired with an old appendix is still an inconsistent package.
Verify high-impact evidence
Recalculate headline results, check figure and table callouts, and compare the abstract and conclusion with the results section.
Read the rubric literally
Mark where each requirement is satisfied. If the evidence cannot be located, treat it as unresolved rather than guessing how an instructor will score it.
Preserve a change log
After each correction, note dependent sections that may need another pass. Stop when the frozen package is internally coherent and complete—not when a tool predicts a grade.
